DASCOR Corporation, d.b.a. DASCOR Plumbing is a family run, owned and operated company serving South Florida since 1986. The founders of both our company and our family, Dick and Shirley Anderson originally started DASCOR, short for Dick and Shirley’s Corporation, as a General Contracting business building and remodeling custom homes.

Dick Anderson had many attributes that friends, family, and even complete strangers admired, he was a kind, friendly, charitable, and energetic man who taught his family to treat every customer, no matter how insignificant the problem, like that customer was your only one. He passed this philosophy on to his children, two of whom purchased the company from him and redirected its focus solely on plumbing.
Doug Anderson, Dicks youngest son, started out by attending Atlantic Technical Center where he studied both the technical and business aspects of the plumbing industry. He worked his way through school as a service plumber and at the age of 26 became a master plumber. He used his knowledge of the business and his hard working attitude to begin DASCOR plumbing with his sister Elizabeth.

Elizabeth Schunk, Dick and Shirleys youngest daughter, started out her career as a legal assistant where she learned how to successfully manage accounts payable and receivable, as well as refining her skills as an office manager. She with Doug ventured into business together in a tough industry, but managed to become one of the most respected plumbing companies in South Florida.
The third generation of the Anderson family working at DASCOR are Johnny Campbell and Corey Ryan. Johnny and Corey are both certified backflow technicians, authorized KOHLER representatives, Certified MOEN service plumbers, and have attended the United Service Training Corporation for Journeyman plumbers. The two are very hard working and routinely are commended by customers for their professionalism, cleanliness, and polite and energetic attitudes.
DASCOR Plumbing employs master plumbers, journeyman plumbers and plumber apprentices, as well as an office staff to manage accounting, scheduling, and any concerns customers or potential customers may have. Our master plumbers handle our estimating for remodels, and new construction; while our certified backflow technicians will provide estimates for new installs or rebuilding the devices.
